It Was a Good Christmas

It was! Apart from being my first Christmas away from my parents, and brother and sister, it was a really nice Christmas. I spent it with other family.. Josh and his mom. We had a lovely breakfast Christmas morning and then opened presents! And then had a great rest of the day.. with relaxing.. and a great dinner of ham, garlic mashed potatoes, candied yams…. etc..

In the spirit of consumerism, I wanted to talk about a few of the fabulous presents I am really excited about:

  • The Light of New York– I am so excited about this. It is a fabulous coffee table book. The photography in this book so amazing.
  • Apple iPod nano 8 GB Yellow (4th Generation)– Now I have something to listen to on the bus! I’ve already loaded some great photography podcasts on here. And the mustard yellow color is so pretty!
  • Pinhole Camera
  • 2 Scarves and 2 Sets of Gloves! (both very stylish and VERY necessary here in the Pacific Northwest)
  • Exploding Dog book. I love the website, and now have a book to flip through. Thank you little bro! What a nice surprise.

Oh… and I did buy something for myself.. which didn’t arrive until the day after Christmas.. thanks to the snow.. but I am very excited to use.. (here’s the link to it at Amazon…) Nikon D90 12.3MP Digital SLR Camera (Body Only). So excited to get out and take some shots with this!

Hope everyone had a fantastic holidays!

Merry Christmas from Seattle!

Another Snow Day

We were supposed to get snow Wednesday night.. it never came. We were supposed to get snow Wednesday during the day.. it never came. Wednesday evening… never came.

But when I woke up at 5:30 this morning and looked out the window.. I saw a nice layer on the ground and cars. And.. that was only the beginning. It snowed practically until 4 or so this afternoon..

Here’s a few pics from this morning.

More Snow Pics

Walking around the neighborhood… Unfortunately, the snow had already started melting and was in that crunchy stage, unlike the soft fluffiness from last night when it was fresh.
